American Style Post Boxes

This Stunning Copper and Brass “Mail” Box has been fabricated out of virgin copper sheet.

It is of robust quality and has been finished with an antique “sateen” Finish.

Unlacquered, it will gently weatherdown and acquire a lovely verdigris patina. If you require lacquer please state when purchasing.

The seams have been edged in Solid brass sheet, with cross banding around the main body of the box.

The opening end has been fitted with a solid brass hooded handle, which simply pulls down, for easy access.

All the rivets are made from copper.

Beneath the handle we have left an oblong indentation, this is to allow you to fit a name plate or number, of your choice.

This has been designed with a matching stand which can be purchased separately.

It comes fitted with a brass “Flag” handle which can be raised by the postman when Mail is added to the box alerting you of the need to collect your mail.
