Modern Brass signs

We recognize that a very slim and slender sign is today’s preferred style, No fuss, No clutter, simply lines, But Beautifully made.

Each plate is made from a single casting, highly polished Brass edgings with a deep black enamel background for your individual letters, also produced in Solid Brass.

These plates were originally called Engine plates and were found on steam trains and other early turn of the century automotive vehicles.

We offer these plates to you now, in there sizes to suite your house name or apartment/office names.

On Tuesday we popped into the Cadbury Garden centre where some time ago we bought a cat shaped brass door knocker. Having been nagged into almost immediate installation I cut the two plastic ‘bolts’ too short by about 2mm each. We mentioned this to Cadbury who said if we gave them our details they would ask you to send two replacements and, frankly, I thought we’d never hear again from them or from you.

Imagine our surprise when two days later (Thursday) the two replacements came in the post. That’s stunningly good service and I wanted to write and thank you for it.
