New to Black Country Metalwork’s is our collection of door guards, door wedges, door stops, door retainers or as they are sometimes called door porters. Often overlooked, the Door stop can save you and your property from serious damage. An unsecured door, swinging wildly or accidentally slammed can be a recipe for disaster. A good quality doorstop, is essential on a breezy day, to protect fingers and toes. Also the back gusts of wind that can occur from a slamming door, can sometimes mean a broken window too. Our Door stop collection, can be used on any outside door or any internal doors within your property.

We have a good range of handmade door stops, from the simple “screwed to the floor” door stop, to wall mounted door stops and temporary floor standing door stops. Our door stops, door porters, or door wedges are ornamental too, with hand cast Iron Or hand painted versions.
