Hemispherian Armillary Wrought Iron Square plinth Design

This is one of two new and captivating Armillaries, that have been aged using our latest “ rust” metal finish. A lovely square plinth design, with fluted neck that is simply styled and one that has been specially weighted so that it resists falling over when the weather is windy, although for optimum care of your armillary and for obvious security benefits, we would always recommend permanent securing of your armillary to a stone table or Column.

We have found that an ordinary all weather mastic is fine. We also recommend a light oiling every season..

Although the Vintage look is now very popular, with the emphasis on allowing the ironwork to rust naturally.

The look targeted is for the object to blend with its natural surroundings and age and weather without protection.
