Hand Painted Slate

With the addition of our Welsh Slate Effect house numbers, we went to the heart of Wales to study the look , and texture of real slate, and the mining techniques to extract it!!. After witnessing first hand the erosion of the stunning welsh mountains, in mining areas, + we decided to take another approach. Don’t worry, we wont be contributing further to the destruction of our beautiful Welsh countryside. After much research and a little patience, we have created a gorgeous range of plaques that even our Welsh friends find amazing, and if they can’t tell the difference no one will. These particular ones have been adorned with some well chosen and skillfully painted artwork. Small pretty wild flowers and tiny field mice sit prettily in the corners and add just a tiny splash of colour and cheeky charm, to a really lovely and natural looking house number sign.
