The Black Country Metal Works recently donated a specially made iron helicopter.
This was exclusively done for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity raffle.
The raffle was held by the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, during their annual general meeting at Hadley Park House Hotel on the 14th December 2012.
The team here hopes that in doing so the event raised essential funds, in order to keep this life saving service in the air.
This September our team took part in the British Heart Foundations, Bag-Athon, we set ourselves a challenge to help the fight
against heart disease and support the charity’s pioneering research.
Each of us filled at least one bag with all sorts of lovely things we wanted to donate.
Every bag is worth around £20 to the charity and really does make a big difference in helping to fund the
British Heart Foundation’s lifesaving work.
We are proud to have supported and taken part in fundraising for such a wonderful charity and hope you will join
us at the next Bag –Athon in 2013!
The British Heart Foundation is our chosen charity to support as a family business for our own personal reasons.
We have chosen to dedicate a product range to the British Heart Foundation, which is our range of decorative pretty and particle House Hold Heart Hooks.
These Hooks can be used in utility rooms, bed rooms, kitchens and they are unique to Black Country Metal Works and the British Heart Foundation.
We price these very sensibly at £2.99, all the profit and money generated will be handed over in a presentation at the British Heart Foundation Head Office, which will be arrange for December 2008. At this moment in time we are waiting for formal approval from the British Heart Foundation team before they go on general release for all of our customers. We thank the Heart Foundation for allowing us to approach them and we pledge our continued support.
The Purpose and Vision
Matthew 22:37-40, Matthew 28:19-20
1. Worship “Love the Lord with all your heart”
2. Ministry “Love your neighbour as yourself”
3. Evangelism “Go and make disciples”
4. Fellowship “Baptising them”
5. Discipleship “Teaching them to obey”
THE VISION NOW AND FUTURE
To be a place where people can find love, hope, help, acceptance, forgiveness, guidance, encouragement and also discover and fulfil their God given purpose in the local community.
To minister to people’s spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs. To share the facts about Jesus Christ with the hundreds and thousands of residents in the West Midlands on a weekly basis.
To be a key regional Christian centre with more than 500 people corporately and regularly attending church for celebration, worship, Bible teaching and fellowship, in conjunction with more than 40 small groups operating throughout the week. The leadership of the church will grow to facilitate this vision and pastors, elders and deacons will be duly appointed as the Lord leads.
To be a church with a global vision, ministering to peoples of other nationalities within Dudley, bringing the good news to non-believers in every continent around the world, ministering to Christians internationally and sending out supporting short term and long term missionaries to other countries.
Ensuring There Is Always Hope
As parents ourselves, we at Black Country Metal Works, realise the importance of the work that Charities such as Hope House, do.
As well as providing essential and much needed nursing to many Sick and Poorly children, Hope House is a lifeline to the thousands of carers, who’s lives are dedicated to the care of very ill children. Hope house can offer support and respite to hundreds of parents and families, allowing them time to spend with siblings doing the normal everyday things we all take for granted.
To this end, we helped to set up a group of talented local amateur thespians, who are involved in many fundraising shows and entertainment throughout the year. We provide rehearsal facilities and equipment and have raised several thousand pounds to date, all of which has gone to help Hope House. This included money won in a local draw, donated by Aston Shoot. It is our intention to continue to support this worthy cause for as long as we are able.
We are avid animal lovers here at Black Country Metal Works Ltd, so we have chosen to support the People’s Trust For Endangered Species. Our hedgehog collection page is dedicated to the Trust, and we will be donating a sum generated from the sales of our beautiful Hedgehog Products!
Dedicated to saving lives at sea around the coasts of Britain and Ireland. The RNLI is the charity that provides a 24-hour lifesaving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland. Black Country Metalworks supports the RNLI and are offering this Brass Door Knockers for sale, with ALL the profits going to this worthy charity!
