RSS FeedIt certainly has been a strange start to the year but as we remain indoors, our minds have been ticking over what we can do to upgrade, renovate and update items and rooms in our home. That got us thinking, with a new year, new me mantra, we have been intrigued by what interior décor trends might be popping up this year. As we are spending a lot more time indoors, having an interior you are proud of is not only good for metal wellbeing, but self- love and worth that you created this oasis away from the crazy world outside your front door.
According to the interior gods (or experts), the interior décor trends of 2021 are really much of what we have seen in 2020 (see our blog here detailing all the trends). Yet 2021 will bring with it more natural, warm organic tones and will celebrate the raw materials that the world has to offer. So here are all the trends that you will be seeing as you scroll through Instagram and Pinterest.
As this year has certainly been a weird one, you might be someone who thought ‘enough of that, we need some Christmas spirit early!’ and put the decorations up in November or are you someone who has to wait until 1st December as that’s the unwritten rule? Whenever you decide to put up the Christmas Decs, it is the first and most universal ways to kickstart the festive season.
Who would have thought that as we blissfully celebrated NYE 2019, we would be plunged into a new decade with trials and tribulations which would shock not just the UK but the World. The Kitchen; the so-called heart of the home and the one area we spend most of our time, apart from the bedroom and bathroom of course. As the hub of the home, it is a great multi-purpose space - a place for house parties, romantic dinners and family breakfasts. Whatever you use this space for, the right décor style and accessories make a huge difference the feel and the mood of the room. Check out this style guide for more information!
The final coat of paint has been applied, the furniture is in the room ...and then the wall art goes up. Wall art is something that is often seen as the finishing element which pulls the space together and makes it feel complete. It also shows off your personality and transforms it from a boring functional room to something that could grace the pages of an interior design magazine. We are here to argue that wall art should not be an added extra that sits on the side lines until the end. We think it should be the driving force when you’re thinking about interior design!
