Finished in a sleek yet rich espresso black, this wall mounted post box is simple in detail to enhance the style and elegance of the piece. Crafted from a combination of cast iron and aluminium, this design features an open aperture as well as a larger lid which can be left unlocked to receive larger post or parcels. Similarly, the lid can be secured using a small padlock (not supplied). The fixing plate has been pre-drilled and adorned with a fleur de lys finial.

Made and created in the mid-late 1930s in preparation for use in the Second World War, this was used by the Allies, most famously in the Battle of Britain.
