Crafted from high-quality robust steel and cast iron, here on site, this hanging basket bracket features a beautifully detailed design showcasing an amazingly detailed Lancaster Bomber aircraft. First used in the Second World War, this aircraft was instrumental in the victorious war effort for the Allies. There were over 7,000 of these made, but to this day, only two remain air worthy. Originally in flight during the 1930’s and 1940’s, this single seater fighter plane showcases all elements of this aircraft in all its glory, from the central nose propeller to the outstretched wings, this weathervane is a must have for any vintage aircraft enthusiast or military personnel. Complete with fletched arrow, directional arms and four integrated ground spikes within the base of the pole, it makes for easy installation and stability in the ground.

Please note: All free standing weathervanes come complete with an integrated 15cm length four-pronged ground spike for stability.  If your ground is a little soft, the base can easily be ground anchored or cemented into position where additional support is required.
