This majestic pillar box is supplied as a complete unit providing security, durability and of course unrivalled style. The post box is a stunning example of traditional design; featuring elaborate detailing, a heraldic lion bust, ornate scroll work and culminating in a regal crown like finial.

The piece has a delightfully polished red finish which complements the brass lettering beautifully. It will easily accommodate A4 letters or larger envelopes which can be retrieved by unlocking the front door with one of two keys supplied. Two fixing slots have also been included at the base which can be screwed in to your existing ground work.

Prince Albert became king in1936 and chose the name of his father upon ascending the throne. This was to ensure continuity after his father’s death and restore faith in the monarchy.
The monarchy had been shaken after King George’s brother abdicated the throne in order to marry.
