Crafted from robust cast iron and finished in a raw metal effect, this castor wheel takes inspiration from traditional design and old-fashioned watermills seen throughout history. Providing ample practicality to aid the safe movement of large furniture pieces, this castor has been specifically designed for easy installation with its pre-drilled central screw hole.

This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
