This gorgeous sculpture is inspired by one of the most impressive reptiles in the world. Reaching up to lengths of 10 feet long, alligators play an important role in the wetland ecosystem by creating small holes within river banks providing habitats for their young and other animals. Crafted from aluminium, this fantastic and almost life-like sculpture features a small alligator with mouth wide open as if warning back encroaching predators. Fully detailed throughout, this alligator comes complete with bony plates, otherwise know as osteoderms, across his back and large webbed feet. Mimicking the colours of an alligator, this sculpture has been finished in a beautiful black and gold finish which highlights and shadows each part of his scaly body.
