Inspired by traditional French chateau’s, this fantastic letter plate has been crafted from cast iron and left to naturally age and antique.  Rectangular in shape, each end features a fleur de lys design adding a period and sophisticated look to your front door. The central flap allows for mail to be pushed through the door with ease. A must have in period and traditional homes.

This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
