Don't Bin It, Tin It

We need your waste tin cans to create a spectacular bust of Her Majesty the Queen. We’re hoping to collect an enormous 1 MILLION cans in order to create this amazing sculpture. The project is perfect for schools looking to educate children in the importance of recycling and the responsibility we all hold to help save the environment.
Some interesting facts:

  • Up to 60% of all dustbin rubbish is recyclable.
  • If all cans were recycled in the UK, we would need circa 20 million fewer bins.
  • Making one aluminium drink can uses the same energy as recycling 20 cans.

For every school taking part we will provide a recycling starter kit, this will contain information leaflets, a collection bin and recycling sacks.

How does the school benefit?

  • This project offers the ideal introduction to the importance of preserving our environment and makes recycling exciting.
  • The project highlights social responsibility within the community and encourages schools and families to come together to contribute towards something positive and imaginative.
  • Representatives from each school will be invited to a spectacular and fun-filled Royal Garden Party, to be held once the project is complete.

All of this will be provided free of any cost.
