This large coat hook has been made from cast iron using traditional forging methods and comes supplied in two separate parts. The first part features a back plate complete with two curved hooks, whilst the second piece, a secondary plate, features ‘GWR’ lettering and four pre-drilled screw holes for installation to the wall. This unique hook design is the ideal way to pay homage to classic blacksmith metalwork whilst adding practicality to your home.

This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
