This coat hook has been made from cast iron using traditional blacksmithing methods and is the ideal addition to any home with an affinity for the city of Hull. This design features two integral hooks and a central plate which has ‘Made in Hull’ lettering cast across the front. Fitted with two pre-drilled screw holes, this hook has been specifically designed for ease of installation and is perfect for keeping your coats tidy throughout the year.

This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
