Delivery & Collection Information

Order by 3 pm Monday to Friday for next-day delivery on marked items. On Saturday, orders must be placed by 1 pm to qualify for next-day delivery. Orders that are placed after 1 pm on a Saturday will be dispatched the next working day, Monday.

For items which are up to a shoe box in size, we do make every effort to dispatch in 48 working hours. Larger items are generally dispatched within 7-10 working days, as finishing and packaging work may take significantly longer. Delivery by pallet to the property's curtilage edge or curbside.

Palletised deliveries are kerbside or vehicle-side only. Disposing of the pallet and any packaging is the customer's responsibility; however, this should be done only after the goods have been fully checked and there is no reason to return them. Goods must be secured back on a pallet in the event of needing to arrange a return.

During busy times of the year (i.e Christmas), we make the best efforts to dispatch all orders, including those with Free Next Day Delivery, in time, but this is not always possible. Please note, the couriers can also experience slight delays due to the large influx of deliveries at this time of year.

Returns Information

If you have changed your mind about the product you have received and wish to return it, you have 28 days for a full refund of the product cost.

For palletised items, please ensure you retain all packaging until goods have been fully checked and there is no reason to return. Should you wish to return an item, it will need to be repackaged using the original pallet supplied. If packaging has not been retained, you will incur a respective cost as quoted to us by the courier. This cost will be reduced from the refundable value of your item.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Designed with your loved ones in mind, the ‘Alexus’ fireguard is a great way for you to enjoy the heat from your fire whilst also protecting anyone from any potential dangers. Crafted using high quality metals, this fire guard comes complete in a sleek midnight black finish. The design features three panels which you can use to wrap around your fireplace or stove meaning you can protect children or pets from every angle. The three-fold design also allows you to fold up and store this fire guard when not in use. The central panel features a lockable door meaning that you can safely tend to your fire.

This hearth guard conforms to the newest child safety gate standard, EN1930:2011. (The European Standard which specifies the safety requirements and test methods for child safety barriers for domestic indoor use which are designed to be fitted across openings to limit a child's access inside the home and to prevent young children up to 24 months of age passing through. Please note that, as this nursery guard doesn’t have any mesh inserts to keep spitting embers contained, it isn't suitable for open fires. This fire guard should be placed a minimum distance of 75cm (29.6") away from any heat source to ensure maximum safety. As every fireplace is different, we’d always recommend taking due care to test how hot your fire guard gets at the suggested distance. If it’s still hot to the touch after use, we’d suggest moving it further away from the heat source.

It's not possible to fully baby proof a fireplace. Babies and children should never be left alone in a room with a wood burner or any other heat source - even when a fire guard is in place.
