PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Rough Collie, a long-coated cousin of the traditional Collie, was originally bred to herd sheep in Scotland. With a distinctive long narrow tapered snout and tri colour coat, it was not until 1870 that the Sheep Dogs were separated into two classes ‘smooth’ and ‘rough’. It was after this that the founder of the Kennel Club and Queen Victoria promoted the breed heavily by having several dogs. Designed and crafted by our in-house creative team, this ground spike is ideal for adding some character and charm to the garden or grounds. This spike can be used as either a house sign or to alert visitors that dogs are present or equally can be used as a memorial spike for pets which are no longer with us.
Each spike can be personalised, if required, with a choice of fonts and colours.
For outdoor items, weathering may occur over time as the item is exposed to wind, rain and other natural elements. Please see our product maintenance guides to help you protect your product.
