Each piece has been fitted with two intricate, solid brass end caps which can easily be removed should you want to cut the rod down to a smaller size. These rods also come complete with two hinged brackets which have each been fitted with non-slip pads to ensure that the rod stays firmly in place during stair use, and a release screw to allow for easy rod removal during carpet cleaning.
