Crafted from high quality cast iron and left to naturally antique, this urn style door knocker brings with it traditional style and modern technology thanks to the GWR train wording. Complete with two pre-drilled holes on both finials, this door knocker provides quick and easy installation to any front door. Ideal for placement on homes which are near train stations or simply are named after train lines or stations.

This product has been designed to age naturally and develop its own patina over time. For authenticity, this product is supplied unlacquered and has, instead, been expertly hand waxed. This wax serves as a basic protective layer against moisture however, if exposed to the outdoor elements for prolonged periods of time, this item will develop a surface rust. If required, the wax layer can be removed using a light oil such as WD40 with a fine-grade wire wool and then re-finished with a metal-based paint.
