Covid-19 Customer Update

Dear valued customer, 

I hope you are well. 

Just to provide another update.  As we find ourselves working at distance with a skeleton team, we do have a reasonable backlog of orders awaiting packaging and dispatch.   All orders including ‘made to order’ items may experience an additional 10-15 working day delay for packing to be completed safely.   We are working through orders as quickly as possible and will be looking to reduce this delay as quickly as physically possible.

I hope you are well.

To give you an update as of today, we have adjusted our internal methods of working to maintain social distancing in line with government guidance. We have a skelton team of staff on site working from Monday to Friday. The nature of our work sometimes requires a variety of skills and so whilst orders are now being processed we may encounter delays for certain orders which require special skills or special materials or part/complete components from other works. RE: Current Works closure due to Covid-19 (affecting Black Country Metal Works, English Lamp Posts & The British Ironwork Centre).

Dear valued customer,

I hope this finds you well.

Firstly, thank you kindly for your order which is currently in progress with us.  Thank you also for supporting an independent business through such uncertain times.

Following most recent Government guidance, we are currently working remotely on skeleton staff, and therefore have had to extend all delivery time estimates.  We would love to offer a more definitive timeline
for your order but presently this is not possible. This decision was difficult for us, but given the guidance we felt it important that we play our part in preventing the spread of Coronavirus and prioritising the safety of our team.

You do not need to contact us about your order, however wanted to take this opportunity to reassure you that as soon as our works are operating again that we will be working hard to fulfil your order and send it
out as quickly as possible.

We greatly look forward to returning to work and wish you all the best in health and happiness from our entire team.
