Oswestry Colour Run 2019

Here at Black Country Metal Works' we don't just create and lovingly package up your orders, we also run a whole host of exciting events throughout the year! All in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, the annual Oswestry Colour Run will be taking place at our flagship site, the British Ironwork Centre, on the 30th June 2019 to support all the invaluable work that Macmillan do for Shropshire and the rest of the UK.
Our 2018 event saw over 1,250 runners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come together for a fun-filled day of bright colours, entertainment, exercise and above all, solidarity for an amazing cause. As with last year, all participants will be given an official Colour Run t-shirt, a unique appreciation medal for their efforts upon race completion, and the opportunity to explore a fascinating 3km course filled with a menagerie of sculptures, paint throwers and other surprises along the way.
With its incredible atmosphere and fascinating location, this event is an exhilarating experience like no other that caters for everyone and anyone who wants to join in on the fun. Whether you want to run, walk or dance the trail, all walks of life are invited to enjoy a spectacular time getting completely drenched in a rainbow of colours whilst celebrating healthiness, happiness and individuality.
Just £28 will help to pay a nurse for an hour, helping people who live with cancer to receive essential medical and emotional support. At the 2018 event, we collectively raised over £14,500 to support Macmillan’s work in Shropshire – let’s all come together and raise even more for this year’s event!
