Urn Door Knocker
This is our improved range of Urn Door Knocker, which includes Georgian and Victorian.
The Georgian style is noted for the rope design border, whilst the Victorian style is plainer, and more funeral, which is to be expected.
We are very proud of our comprehensive range of Urn door knockers
The urn door knocker, as it is referred to, gets its name from its Greek “urn” shaped body, and has been a favourite door knocker in Britain for many years.
Based on this sought after design, we have made only minor alterations. These would include a Victorian and a Georgian twist of style.
The Georgian style is noted for its attractive rope design border, whilst the Victorian style is decidedly simpler and classically plain. The knocker is designed with integral striker and plate, and is splendid choice for the understated but stylish front door. For those who are security minded, or would like the option to view visitors before they open their doors, we have Urn door knockers fitted with a security viewer. This enables discreet access to the visitors identity, and allows for the choice of whether to open the door or not. A more than welcome option for the old or infirm, or persons living alone.
All of our door knockers are supplied with our patent nylon fixing screws, with matching colour/finish domed nuts for a neat look inside and out.
